    Great food. Great prices. Great value. Great wait staff. Great service. Best liver and onions meal in town. We eat here a lot.

    I took a friend of mine(as my guest) to The Marion Diner on February 25, 2017.  He ordered a steak breakfast along with a few other breakfast menu items.  When our orders were brought to our table(after a somewhat too long of a wait), he commented that his food was not even warm.  The waitress(polite and courteous) offered to have them warmed up.  Also, his steak had WAY TOO MUCH fat on it(approximately 1/2 of the steak).  He brought it to the waitress and she got the manager to look at the order.  He did and said he would "take care" of it.  The net result was that he took $2.00 off the bill.  What an insult!  To be honest and fair, my order was quite good.  Nevertheless, I probably won't go back or recommend this restaurant to others.

    The food is horrible! No taste and greasy. The coffee tasted like dirt. Staff friendly though and is the only reason it gets a star at all! Will not returning here anytime soon.

    Table service was a little spotty (but charming).  The food was pretty good.  One of the better sandwiches I've had in a while.  Very friendly local atmosphere.  I'll make it a point to stop back in when I'm in the area.

    Dependable but mediocre traditional diner. Some food good. Some bad. Nothing excellent. Service courteous and quick. Prices right.
